Jam Tea Party by Marcelo

 I just LOVE tea parties. We don't need a special celebration to do it.

When we have a great inspiration, that's awesome!

Looking my journal materials, I found a stamp set I bought some years ago, There was a little jar stamp in this set. It gave me a super inspiration: JAMs! 

Well, why not create a Jam Tea Party? YES!

At First, I created the special jar, the "major character" of this decoration.

After that I needed an invitation for my special friends!

The table  was like this: colorful, with few flowers. 

The placeholder was a little jam jar (in the end, the person could take it home as a party favor). 

I also create a little recipe book as a party favor (we are talking about a jam tea party, so some recipes would be shared there). I love this idea!

2022 - Hello, byMarcelo friends! ❤️

Yes, we're almost in the second half of 2022. 

Time flies so fast! The life is kind of a "big race" so, sometimes (always, we can say) I think we can forget some special things!

Today we have blogs, Facebook profiles and pages, Instagram accounts, Youtube chanels, TikToks, and a lot of social media to share our experiences, work, projects... 

OMG! It can be so exhausting! Most when our health isn't 100% ok.

Well, I was thinking: we can't forget the happy first steps we done... for me, this blog WAS the first step! Here was born the project "bymarcelo". I'll never forget it! 

In this way, my friends, I'll try to share more and more!

I have a lot to show you...

Spring Memories by Marcelo - Memorydex project

 

Hello, friends!

Since I discovered, a month ago, the memorydex system, I can't think about a project without a card done for my memorydex archive.

The first project I want to share with you is "Spring Memories by Marcelo" - when I was a little boy, when I saw a flower, I imagined little fairies ready to dance or fly through the garden or park.

So, for this project, I decided to create a memorydex card with a unusual shape: a terracotta vase with a flower inside.

A little greenhouse is the memorydex tray for my Spring cards.

Here we can see the tray with the memorydex card.

The flower becomes a little paper doll fairy!

It was amazing to draw, colorate and assemble everything!

Junk Journal - The Deserted Island Challenge

I decided to participate of a challenge called "The Deserted Island", proposed by Nik the Booksmith on her Youtube Channel.

This challenge consists in making a junk journal using a super limited list of materials. 

We can use 4 "givens" and 4 "choices". 

The 4 givens:

- Paper (I chose coffee stained paper)

- Scissors

- Needle and thread

- Glue (I chose white glue)

The 4 choices:

- Cardboard (recycled) for the cover

- Paintbrush

- Ink

- Brush pen

It was really fun doing this journal!

I created a story about a italian couturier who made paper doll's dresses...

I went crazy with the elements I used!

From now, videos in English!

Hello everyone! I'm really happy to announce that I'm starting a new Youtube channel, in English!

I have several videos about tutorials, recycling, simple drawing techniques and a lot of stuff, but all those in italian - and I thought: I have an amazing blog since 2012 in english... why 
don't create videos in english too? Well, is a big challenge! As you know, english is not my first language! Writing is not a problem, but talking (without practicing) is kind of hard! I had to learn spanish, some catalan and now italian. Is difficult to manage those languages together!

Well, I'll try. Just because I believe that we have to share beauty, love and art with the world.
