Jam Tea Party by Marcelo

 I just LOVE tea parties. We don't need a special celebration to do it.

When we have a great inspiration, that's awesome!

Looking my journal materials, I found a stamp set I bought some years ago, There was a little jar stamp in this set. It gave me a super inspiration: JAMs! 

Well, why not create a Jam Tea Party? YES!

At First, I created the special jar, the "major character" of this decoration.

After that I needed an invitation for my special friends!

The table  was like this: colorful, with few flowers. 

The placeholder was a little jam jar (in the end, the person could take it home as a party favor). 

I also create a little recipe book as a party favor (we are talking about a jam tea party, so some recipes would be shared there). I love this idea!

"Topolini da Favola (Fairy Mice)" - Lady Teodora

For my fairy mice collection, I create Teodora, a cute little mouse who loves Tea!!

All dressed in light pink, she´s a fancy lady!

Obviously she always has a teacup and teapot with her... (we never know when we´ll want to have a cup of tea, right?)

This was the inspiration for Lady Teodora: an antique pink teacup from my personal collection.

Blue Fascination

We went to a quick spring trip and I saw some little blue flowers on the road. The first thought that came into my mind was "I have to make a teacup/flowers/ribbons composition with this color!"
So, here it is...

Nature gives us so many colors and shapes!

The stones, the fruits, those cute little flowers... 

 Light blue, dark blue...

Flowers and Tea

In our garden we have a quince tree... and in Spring it gaves us a lot of beautiful flowers!

I want to share with you this beauty.

Also is a good opportunity to make a photo of one antique teacup from my collection!

I love this teacup - the sweet and pastel colors, the flowers painted  and the touch of gold...

Why not taste an Italian Easter desert with those precious?
Here´s again, the "squarcella"!

You can make the same, with flowers from your garden or those you see everytime on the road, a teacup that you like a lot and some yummy desert!
Life is incredible - when we add some beauty and flavor, it becomes awesome!

Spring, the season of flowers. A good reason to take a cup of tea and read a good book!

Spring - the gorgeous gift of Mother Nature

A good friend gave us some beautiful and colorful flowers, so I had to make a teacup-nature composition...

Spring is the season of colors and scents, when Mother Nature decides to show us the natural beauty and teaches the power of simplicity.

Life is incredible. And there´s not better than take strenght from this gift.
