Chanel Stravaganza by Marcelo 🖤🤍🖤🤍

Fashion and paper dolls: what an amazing way to craft and play!

For my second projects using Paperbabe Stamps products, I wanted to use the theme Chanel.
I made some research and drew some models with the brand style, other than a model dressed as a Karl Lagerfeld's tribute.

The first model's outfit is a black and white-clean Chanel model.
I thought that some fancy jewelry was a great complement for the look.

The next model, also inspired by the brand's haute couture shows, is a modern young fancy bridal outfit. I named this girl Naomi (you can imagine why ☺️).
I think this is the most beautiful I created so far!
The veil and the arms/legs accessories gave a detailed high crafted quality. They should remember us the embroidery and fancy fabrics we ever see in magazines.

As I said before, the third girl is a tribute to the great designer and art director for Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld. She wears a clean black outfit, with Karl's style white high collar.

Moment I confess: while I was creating the clothes for this girl, any position I put it on the table was a stunning pose! It happens a lot of times, I had to make a photo... 🤣

This bodies forms are perfect, so it's impossible don't create perfect dolls!

Well... it was like to play with living models!

I hope you like this project!
I invite you to see the products available at Paperbabe Stamps store and try them!

Thank you so much...

Scary Glam by Marcelo - Halloween 2022

Hello, my friends!

I want to share a new passion of mine: paper dolls. Well, I always love to play with them, to collect vintage ones and admire several dolls I see online.

BUT, when I knew Paperbabe Stamps,  WOOOW! The dolls created there are simply fabulous! The supplies we can find there are so useful - completely indispensable!

I just created 3 dolls so far. I confess that those supplies really touched me. I can't work with them without see the details, the beauty and be so emotional.

I have a project where I'll create so much stuff with those wonders.

Let me show something:

I hope you like my first paper dolls: a fashion Mummy, a "spooky bride" Catrina and a colorful fashion Catrina!

Thank you...
XOXO

Jam Tea Party by Marcelo

I just LOVE tea parties. We don't need a special celebration to do it.

When we have a great inspiration, that's awesome!

Looking my journal materials, I found a stamp set I bought some years ago, There was a little jar stamp in this set. It gave me a super inspiration: JAMs!

Well, why not create a Jam Tea Party? YES!

At First, I created the special jar, the "major character" of this decoration.

After that I needed an invitation for my special friends!

The table  was like this: colorful, with few flowers.

The placeholder was a little jam jar (in the end, the person could take it home as a party favor).

I also create a little recipe book as a party favor (we are talking about a jam tea party, so some recipes would be shared there). I love this idea!

I hope you like it!

I made a little video for you...

Spring Memories by Marcelo - Memorydex project

Hello, friends!

Since I discovered, a month ago, the memorydex system, I can't think about a project without a card done for my memorydex archive.

The first project I want to share with you is "Spring Memories by Marcelo" - when I was a little boy, when I saw a flower, I imagined little fairies ready to dance or fly through the garden or park.

So, for this project, I decided to create a memorydex card with a unusual shape: a terracotta vase with a flower inside.

A little greenhouse is the memorydex tray for my Spring cards.

Here we can see the tray with the memorydex card.

The flower becomes a little paper doll fairy!

It was amazing to draw, colorate and assemble everything!

Here is a little video I created to show the pieces...

I hope you like this project and have a great magical Spring!

XOXO

Mlle. Printemps by Marcelo

This is Mlle. Printemps, a little 18th century lady who loves play with flowers and her love letters.

Her dress is full of flowers and arabescs.. also we can see lovely phrases about love, emotions and, of course, spring and flowers!

She's really romantic and fancy...

And the hairdo? An amazing and large royal hair sculpture! Full of flowers, of course!

The joy of spring, the beauty of flowers and the romantic atmosphere of those letters...
This is her world!

I hope you like her... <3
