Sweet Spring

I can´t wait anymore! I want Spring now!
What can we do?
Well, today is the birthday of a good friend and I tried to anticipate Spring in Italy...

For me, Spring is the season of inspiration...

Sugar and inspiration! Hummm... delicious!

I wish you all an incredible and sweet Spring!

Inspired by nature...

I saw an interesting corner at our garden and thought: why not make a teacup photo here?
So...

I use also an antique photo, from my collection, with a ribbon, of course!

Our garden, my teacup set, the photo, ribbon..... and me.

What inspires you?

What inspires you?

For me, a good music (today is Mozart), a cup of tea, a beautiful flower...
But sometimes, an antique gown or shoe, a sculpture or a simple word.
The nature is awesome, the world is full of inspirations. Take one and go!

Valentine´s day

This was the Valentine´s day atmosphere here...
I had the idea to make a "blue angel" love explosion!

The china is from my personal collection. I thought: why don´t mix different cups and different plates?
I loved the result...

I made the cake (strawberry and white chocolate ganache) and decorated it with some "angels cabouchons".
The inspiration was a fusion between Marie Antoinette, antique porcelain and my rococo-deconstructed-style.

I just love ribbons... I always use it on my decorations or tablescapes.

Macarons!

You know how much I love desserts... Last year I won an incredible book from Angela McRae (a great tea blogger) - and I decided to try baking some macarons.

Delicious!

X-mas Country Breakfast

Chritmas breakfast!
Before an Angelical party we had a Country and Cozy breakfast! The thing that I most loved is that I could change the atmosphere without loose the magical feeling...

Angelical Christmas

A Christmas with the Angels... This was my inspiration for our Chritmas tablescape this year.

For the fireplace I made a kind of "toy store" decoration... I like it so much that is difficult to think that we have to take it of in January!

I had little time to do the cake, but I guess it was beautiful (and delicious!).

My first gingerbread house... oh, it seems a doll house! So cute, I loved!

Michele, my partner, has made some incredible angels and I used them in our tablescape.
Also I put crowns, an antique relicary and another vintage objects, like those victorian glass christmas tree decorations (we have a beautiful collection of antique decorations - I want to make a post of it).

I hope you and your family had an incredible Christmas...
